Viva Odyssey crew working on Thai Nippon Steel (TNS) and Sumikin Engineering Corp Ltd Construction of 8 Jacket and Offshore Installation won the Chevron Excellence in Performance Award for their dedication towards safety and training.
Best in Safety Systems & Training Efforts for a Drilling Contractor
In 2010, Viva’s System Enterprise 2.0 Implementation in Kencana Marine Drilling won the best newly establish Drilling Contractor’s Award for HSE Initiative and Best Implementation of Safety Campaign. Areas of credit assessment that led towards the award was the establishment of a professional Safety and Training Department which focused on skills development and establishment of technical competency modules through E-Learnings with effective On-The-Job Programs The contractor had operated less that a year and was awarded this title among many others pre-established drilling contractors operating for Petronas Caigali (PCSB).

Viva Odyssey was selected by PTTEP to present its methods in achieving such a successful run in the 2014-2015 with their placement crew in Thai Nippon Steel (TNS) & Sumikin Engenieering Corp. Ltd. Viva Odyssey was then presented the PTTEP CEO Award for commitment towards excellence in performance.

Chevron Excellence Award 2013
Viva Odyssey won the Chevron Excellence Award for devising, compiling and conducting various safety related date to formulate statistical information using the e-Smart Scanning System. The system enable the contractor to formulate effective training programs, workshops and seminars within SEA region which has earned Mr. Jerryson Abraham Doss the award as the Best and Leading Safety Trainer in SEA.
PTTEP CEO Contractor Award 2012
The award was given to Viva Odyssey for the involvement with TNS for incorporating effective Risk Management and Job Hazard Analysis, Confined Space Entry & safety Working Practices & Procedures. Viva has been involved in developing various In-House Training and strategic coaching program to improve work-place safety culture.
